Been having a little bad luck with the sj.......first i broke the cv joint...fixed it...came to the last wheel nut and the bolt snapped clean off....took it for a test drive......perfect!
drove to work this mornin and had to leave it at a pub car park 2miles away from work due to lack of power...its just started slowly dying with low rev's....well at least that should be the end......!(for now)

Sounds like carb freeze to me, mine even does it sometimes with the hot air feed after a few hundred metres then once its properly wamred up its fine

Only thing is i've bed driving it in much colder temp's with no trouble.......its much warmer now!

Is'nt carb icing mainly affected by humidity I may be wrong but if it is the really cold weather would have been low in humidity where as now we are in the 'big thaw' humidity is up. Worth looking into.

Took it for a spin to see if the problem was still about......and yes it was.......so with the carb icing theory in mind i disconnected the snorkel and hooked it back up to the air box with the warm air feed......problem solved! Cheers guys
