Wow a year since I updated this!

Stuck a vit lump in this yesterday.
Looking at rear yjs next week and fitting
the full float and arb diff that's waiting to go in.
I have vit lwb vented discs and calipers to go on.
I have two sets but I think vented rears would be way overkill
So I'm going to put some standard vit front calipers on the rear.

I'll come back to the body when I've bolted more
Mechanical bits back on. Have a full internal safety devices
Cage to fit but I need to extend or change the rears as they
are normally mounted to the wheel tubs on a swb.

Small bits but hopefully it'll keep the mojo going.

Oh and engine number 4 that I removed wouldn't have lasted
Long. The rocker cover had so much crap and congealed
Oil it was unreal.

What you doing with the other set of vit brakes? Just out of curiosity of course.

Possibly refurbish the crusty set and fit them to the tin top.
If I do decide to part with them I'll let you know.

Has a new body!

Well I say new. It's about ten years younger
Than the current one and is lhd. Oh and it's been bobbed
But nothing that cant be Un-bobbed. But it's solid as
A rock floor wise so requires hardly any major fab work.

Big thanks goes to sam16v for it.

So what now? Well to be honest I've kinda lost the zuk
Love so aiming for the quicker easier options at the moment.
ill make a nice standard daily out of this and
See how it goes and all the mods are going on the tin top.

If you want some other vented discs I have a brand new set, and your calipers are still here!
If it ticks over...leave it

So. . .

Today the chassis went to be painted after is acidentally ended
Up being kinda galvanised. This threw a spanner in the works
And my easily knock mojo was lost. So that comes back
Saturday morning. So in theory for christmas i should have a rolling lwb zuk again.

The bitza donated most of its mechanicals and with all the
Other bits i have i should be able to build a good standard daily
Using some of the samurais better parts for the interior.

Its a 91 reg jap dash fitted with spanish switchs. Id like to fit
Jap stalks but i dont feel i can be bothered to muck about wiring.
95 injection steering wheel
Mint swift gti seats
93 spanish loom which ive just learned Has a jap style fuse box instead of the awful early fuse boards.
Spanish dials
