well my paint has faded a hell of alot over the last year where its been sat in the sun
so ive been thinking about a few ideas ... im not going to bother too much about getting big dents out just remove minor things and then spray it
so here's my idea for the colour
2014 metallic red renault clio
pro's it will look pretty damn good
cons i might actully have to polish it
might be time to paint my sj

If you are going down the expensive paint route you may as well spend a little more time on the prep and fix all the dents! Mine is having a cheapo paint job but I'm getting the body straight first.
If it ticks over...leave it

go for a solid colour with a ceramic binder it is a lot more hard wearing used on buses n trucks
SJ 410 currently off road waiting to leap out of hibernation.

£25 on a tin of Hammerite and a pack of 4" foam rollers. Job done!
It's only gonna get trashed if you drive it properly anyway.
