Yup, 15x8 should work.

I have a set off a dihatsu, Twiss bought his brand new, others have got theirs off of Vitaras, I sold a set that have gone on to roll on a Lada Niva.

Ah sweet, ive seen a set of vitara fatboy alloys, just wondering if they are any good at taking a beating. some alloys are weak some are built to last etc.

would stick with steels if i can find the right ones. some fatboys on ebay going pretty cheap to be fair.

cheers

Hey guys, sorry ive not been on for a while been finalizing everything about the rally. We are not officially signed up and i have the truck now so can start work.

so again this is the truck.

Image

parts i am after are some standard shackles as these ones look and seem dangerous, plus we want to drop the height down,

1.3 engine and 5 speed box

whilling to trade these tyres and arches for various bits or sell these for the parts.

want to rebuild the engine from the ground up so i know its all done and ready.

All help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance, cheers guys

Do you drive it on the road? You should come out for a spin sometime!
We usually go up to Petersfield in Hampshire. It's a bit of a trek but there are so many green lanes up there its well worth it!
Also, did you buy it from someone around here? It looks really, really familiar to me!!!

we are doing the Mongolian rally in it so we will be prepping it most of the year. A friend bought it from somewhere in wales and i drove it back. Was a pig on the road, too high and too unstable and max speed of 50 on the 5 speed. Why we wanna change engine and lower it.

Cheers

I would get those shackles off and get it back SPUA if you are driving that far.

Some Fatboy wheels are 8 inch and some are 10. Zook alloys should take the beating.
