New buyer advice
New buyer advice
Hello. I am intending to buy a used Jimny probably around 8 years old. Are there any problem areas I should look out for when viewing a prospective purchase ?
All advice appreciated
Many thanks

Re: New buyer advice
Hi what I've been checking is rust around the floor in the back and just all round. The 4x4 is all working and the vac hubs.

Re: New buyer advice
Vac hubs are on front wheels, they engage when you select 4x4 to lock the front wheels. They are operated by air vacuum, the system often leaks and they stop working but can be replaced with manual hubs. You should be able to hear a small click when they engage, you could on the sons when they worked

If the seller is called Ollie, just walk away
