Love a good build thread! Keep it up mate. That's a great looking little truck.

Re: Kermes-Vermilio's Vitara
Not much to report lately.
I have fit a pro comp steering damper, which seems to stiffen up the front end somewhat.
There is now decent lighting inside: As well as some heavy duty bumpers: I have attempted to strengthen the front bumper mounting by extending the chassis tubes out a few inches and bolting to them as well... rightly or wrongly...
I guess it just depends if my welds hold up, I'm scared to try pulling anything with it in case it falls off ha!
Still need to sort out my rotting body... It's just time and effort doing it... but as the evenings are getting lighter I feel more inclined to go out and do it in some evenings after work, maybe.

Re: Kermes-Vermilio's Vitara
Ok so I had an old enclosed air filter, various silicone joins and a bit of drain pipe so decided to hash up a snorkel...
I also know that drain pipe isnt exactly robust if it takes a beating, but:
a) it's easily replaced
b) If I feel the inclination it could be swapped out for some stainless exhaust or something
I had a pack of amber sidelight bulbs, so chucked them in: They don't show up too well, but I think they look wicked
Not sure if it is legal though?
Aaaannd I gave the whole thing a lick of grey as it had too many scabby patches for my liking: I literally used a grinding disc to grind back the scabby paint, and there are couple of places I fibreglassed as a temporary fix until I get the welder out again, and again, ground this back with a grinding disc... so it's as rough as anything.
A few roller marks here and there but nothing an extra coat won't sort
