Mate I’m so pleased that I sold this to you, it’s great to see you cracking on with it, to many of these projects sit in sheds and don’t get done or finished, you should be proud of what you done so far, I didn’t know the car needed as much work as it has done, so hats off to you. Going to be a cool truck dude, just project it well once you’re done so the Scottish weather doesn’t eat it in years to come !

Cool man, looking good. I got 33s on my Jimny but had planned to put 35s on my (most probably) retirement lwb project!.
Your 50 x 100 sills, did that not leave some of the inner sill still sitting below them? Not had a measure up on mine properly for a few years - I guess it depends at what height you cut below the door...

Cheers Mike, I'll hopefully get most of it out But probably get the body off in next year or two and be more thorough. Really looking forward to getting it together and out to play.

I'd love to run 35s one day but thays gonna take some good axle work to handle them. And I hammered the inner sill round them most of the way, but the footwell sits a inch lower than them at the side closest to the seat.

The floor pan hanging a bit below 50x100 sills is rarely an issue in my experience of doing it. I’m probably going to do 50x100 when I carry on with rebuilding Blue.

Yeah for all it is on the angle between chassis and sill should catch much.
Some updates, I've finished the rear arches the floor and the sills. All welded, seam sealed and coated in red oxide. Inside welding has been painted black to. Going to do some filler work on the outside to make it look abit nicer (may not last long)
