I've found that when taking Honda CBRs apart at Uni. They use 7mm, 9mm and 16mm nuts and bolts on things. IT'S WRONG!

There should only ever be 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 19 and 21.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

6mm? Wow that's small! Picking up a 7mm tomorrow and can crack on. Afraid the Beetle takes top priority but as long as the weather stays mild (fat chance) that might be done by xmas. Oh and more research and the tyres on my bike have only done 250km. So new. They looked like there was no tread depth but there is! Another bonus!

don't forget 85% of a suzuki is either 12mm or 14mm, what's wrong with that?

Got the lights working!! Fine piece of kit, a Draper 7mm lol. Pics are a bit dim, and I need a new temp gauge bulb, but all froody.

New (ish) mudguard arrived...in poor condition but these are rare. Need to kill the rust on the fork plate inside and fill and respray it but this is the colour the bike will be when it's done, Kawasaki racing green.

Now that the rustbug has finally gone the bike has the garage to herself...time to crack on!

I deliberately use matched up 12mm/13mm nut and bolt pairs, because it's easier to find a 12mm and 13mm spanner than 2x12's or 2x13's.

I've had health issues for a couple of years, that halted my career. I'm improving lately, to the point where I'm volunteering 2 days a week at the British Heart Foundation.

It's going well so far, if it carries on like this, I may take them up on their offer of paid work, at which point I may get a 600 as a daily driver.

Which would mean actually getting a proper bike licence...

But nothing gets you around London faster.

Good to hear your on the mend matey. Shame about the bike licence, I hear it's a bastard to do. My test involved riding around the block and one emergency stop! (It was a long time ago).

Also I think after passing you are restricted to a measly 33bhp...not sure for how long though. Kinda think a GSXR600 pumps out a tad more than that :D
