If you don't want buckets ignis sport, swift gti and old Recaro seats are a good fit.

I've got a nice pair of mx5 seats that I picked up as they look like they would be a good fit size wise. A lot of the aftermarket seats are a bit too big for sjs.

These are the things that are killing my lower back and my thighs:

I have a mate who's trying to get an SJ right now, I might pass my red monstrosities on to him.

I'll look around - I saw some SportKa leather seats that looked like they might fit. Heated! :brows:

At the moment, front runner is a set of seats like yours/donkeychomps because I know they fit, and that I'm comfortable once I'm in 'em.

I *think that these are they:

Don't particularly want red though. Black is what I think I'd prefer.

I might keep an eye out for them then, unless you're offering me your set?

I think those red ones are the same as mine. But they are a bit pants. Black is way better!

Yes, I'd be happier with black, because they're less "in your face" and as such, less likely to attract the attention of chavs...

Remounted that seat. Was too ill to do the job, but I had no choice as the MOT is today (old MOT runs out today) and I've got nowhere to put it if it fails.

Pretty sure not having a drivers seat is a fail.

The seat just touches the B pillar, and just touches the handbrake.

And the bracket I made gets in the way of the seat belt receiver, meaning I have to plug into the passenger side for now.

Really need those new MX5 seats in.

Anyhow, today I feel like grot. My illness is super kicking my ass now for pushing myself to get stuff done yesterday.

My full beam tell-tale is working now (I think it was just a dodgy bulb holder) although the 4x4 tell-tale still doesn't work, but I'll sort that another time.

There is a blank space in the dash between the left indicator tell-tale and the full beam (or is it between the full beam and 4x4 light? Doesn't matter...) - so I wanted to plug a bulb holder in that I already have wired up that fits the same socket. It's got wires coming out the back and it already lights up with the fog light, I just need to extend the wires, then I could use the spare slot for a fog light.

Just wondering if any later model zuks had a fog light tell-tale in that spot? I'm assuming that's why it's there - but mine is blacked out completely so putting a light in there won't work. I was hoping to grab a strip from a vehicle that has a fog tell-tale, and retrofit.

Anyhow, apart from two slow punctures I seem to have picked up recently the Zuk is working lovely now. Just need rid of these godawful seats.

My health is still a bit crap, so I probably won't be doing any PnP stuff for a while, but I would like to do a bit of laning soon out Guildford way with Alex - anyone up for joining?

My old SJ never had a fog light err, light on the dash. It was on the switch. And why if your health is that dodgy did you not call? I could have done the seat for you. Berk. :brows:

Yes a bit of laning does appeal. The more the merrier!

I would probably be ok with you giving me a hand getting the new MX5 seats I just bought off Andy into the wee beastie, mate!
