The indent is wear the seat belt mechanism bolts in to. Is I the bolt wherethe b pillars bolts into it...

Just a quick one, while Tom gets his ready - what component of my truck is this? It's a tiny bit dirty, but no more than usual:

Looks like a connector of some sort, I think that's one of those plastic coated harness ties at the top.
