I'm having some good luck so far, I'm on the hunt and have found two possibilities so far so hopefully we can turn this bad situation around and build an absolute stunner of a Longwheelbase.

Dan , that is exactly what Scottie suggested , and I have to say the relief at his suggestion is measurable .

Yeah I was chatting to Scottie today. If the swap is local enough I'm up for coming to lend a hand too.

Shouldn't take too long

If you speak to this "human" again, record the conversation. Once we've sorted out your truck (lots of photos/videos of before and after) then I'd suggest a trip to see trading standards and VOSA. If he's ringing vehicles, "cut and shut"ing swb chassis into lwb chassis and putting dodgy parts out there on the road, he's risking lives. Even if he doesn't know it's illegal (I have a feeling he does) that's no excuse.

The moment you drive something dodgy down the road, you risk the lives of every person you drive past. Some may not agree with me on this, but I do think that this "person" needs to have the long arm take him stiffly by the scruff.

Also - keep me in the loop about when/where this happens. I wanna help out if I can - I'm not as capable mechanically as Scottie/Dan or any of the others who've offered to help, but I'm not completely useless and I do a very good impression of a forklift truck... ;)

Whats the first part of your postcode?

Just trying to work out how far you are from me and if I can fit in a day to come and help out.

We might be trying to get the lwb over to mine for the swap, will be much easier in a workshop with all the gear needed to do it.
