Anyone know what Portsmouth-Caen costs vs Dover-Calais? I don't mind driving an extra few miles if it makes sense.

I have a dual sim version of the Moto G. I may get a 3 sim just for European trips. The GF and I want to do a lot of travelling when my health starts to pick up anyway.

I would be tempted to go down to Genoa along the coast... its a nice drive down there, and you will probably have time to stop for a bit at Piza

Like this, Bing maps actually let me use the D1006 through the Alps so 1635 miles through Europe.

so say 7.5 hours of driving a day....not including playing in the Alps we should do it in 4-5 days
5 days in Malta
4-5 days back.

Nah... going from Piza to Rome will take ages...
Go down to Genoa, have some lunch (nice italian food), go to Piza, cut East over to Florence and then down past Roma on the north East side as per Google maps

How many people are actually coming? As much as I have quite a big place and would love to have all the zukis round... I don't think everyone will fit lol
If there is a vaguely definite number me and Courior can probably find somewhere cheap to stay on the island. Nothing is very far away here really but would be good to be in vaguely the same area

I want dates as well so I can get the time off work in the new year :)

FYI I have 2 spare single beds, and 2 sofas... I do also have an upstairs wash room that has quite a bit of floor space if anyone fancies a blow up mattress or something like that

I wouldn't advise camping outside as you will probably drown in your own sweat in your sleep ;)

We know of a couple of places in the south of the island that may be available to rent... one is a 1 (double bed) apartment, and the other is a two room apartment with 1 (massive) double bedroom and 2 single beds

If it will be a 2 week holiday I should be able to squeeze this in.

All I can say at the moment is that I am watching with interest and keeping my options open.

There is also a campsite here in addition to twiss's house etc. I have a big garage full of tools so the zooks can tend to their wounds. If people need things for repair here like bearings or whatnot then we can do a parts run before u all arrive so you dont need to wait on parts which will help the timings a bit and we can play on some trails me and Twiss have found.

The only other thing u might all need... Mosquito protection!! the hotter it gets, the more thirsty they get :)

I'm allergic to those mozzie bastards. In Corsica I got bitten so bad one night my head expanded...literally, I looked like a balloon. Used an old Corsican trick...lemon juice, they hate it!
