What spark plugs?

Post by dan00001 » Wed Jul 20, 2016 8:25 pm

Being new to engines, I don't want to choose the wrong spark plugs!

I typed my reg into euro's and a handfull of different spark plugs popped up!

So how do I go about choosing the right ones?

Thanks.

Pretty sure most run 6ES, the 5ES is a hotter plug

I run the BPR6ES as well and haven't had any issues with them

Just looked in the Haynes manual (didn't think to earlier) and it actually says 1990 and earlier- BPR5ES.

Should I go ahead and fit the BPR6ES or get the BPR5ES?

THANKS.
