just wanting to know. does the radio have a code on our 2004 grand vitara, the reason i am asking is because i need to change the battery but have no idea of the radio code.would be very greatfull for any advice. . many thanks Ron.

Do you still have the owners manual? Should say in there if it does or not, or someone will be along shortly with an actual answer!

many thanks Tim. managed to change battery without losing the code. a bit of a fiddle but at least it's done.

I'm querying the same thing. I have a 67 plate suzuki swift. I need to charge the battery but if I do it, will I lose my radio code?

bought a used vitara radio unit but the seller never had the pin code? is it stamped on the casing? anyone help please. new member.
