swapping suspension from anus to anus - how easy

hey again everyone.

i have a mamoth task, i need to swap my over under axle conversion from one anus to another.

how easy is this....?


will upload photos of both unber sides if nessercary.

i really dont want to undertake this alone... as i have no idea were to start...

any help would be greatly apprecieated.

Complete axle swap, not a mamoth task, couple of hours max if all bolts/nuts are a ok! 8-)

cheers hnery

sized it up earlier.

removed prop's and disconnected brake lines and hand brake cable....

going to use a forklift to raise the jeeps at the critical moment.

so hopefully next weekend things shall be sorted.


need to put some of the old crap back on the dead anus in order to move it.

then i shall remove the rad, and few parts like that and then its up for grabs.

i have hit a sticky point.. damnedest thing..... i have a 48" lift jack.

BUT, i havent got any axle stands or anything to support TWO jeeps high enough while i swap over the axles......

been looking for axle stand about 3ft roughly OR something that will support body work while i remove said axleS!!!




any help plaese.

i have completed the swap.

few problems as expected.

however the taller is is now.. i have put the standard shocks back on...
maybe uprating would be a good idea.
suggestions on shocks please.
