I'm doing some work on my zook to get it throw an MOT. I have no choice in need to cut out both arches on the rear so im thinking of boxing then for more movement when i get some bigger tyres. im not going near the front coz if it ant broke dont fix it but will do the same when the time comes if its a good

Sounds like a plan.
I recently had to do my rear arches as they were completly rotten on one side, but i took the approach of patching and fiberglassing the holes up as i think i have loads of room under my arches for my needs!

it shouldn't make a difference for the mot because the body is seperate from the chassis and is thus not a stressed member,
therefore mot exempt

If there are any sharp exposed edges they will fail you on that! my front arches have huge holes in them which wasn't a problem it was the sharp edges which i had overlooked which they failed it on!

thanks fella's an yah it might of gone throw MOT if the hole was not to close to my body mounts all i know is its on the fail sheet so if im going to fix it then i might as well do the lot
