extendable shackles

has anybody seen the extendable shackles on ebay.has any body used them or similar 1s,are they good or not

I personally wouldn't bother with them but thats just me.

First off, they can make your truck less stable on side slopes.
If you are leaning off to one side and the shackles on the high side extend, you're gonna end up on your roof!!!

Also, it may give the impression of more articulation as it allows the axle to droop down.
The problem is, there is no car weight over the wheel, just the weight of the wheel itself. Even if your wheel is touching the ground with the shackles extended, it probably won't give you any more grip!

I definitely wouldn't use them on the road!
