Cheers Sam.

I've almost finished with the welding now...famous last words  today I finished the driver side sill and arches and then my father popped over and fitted the rocklobster transfer box.

Think I have 1 or 2 bits left now

Good thing I'm doing a virtual lift on my longwheelbase as it provided a donor for most of the wheel arch.

Took it out for a little test spin up and down the farm track and even though its not jetted or tuned right yet this thing flies! we are running a HIF8 2" SU carb on the 1.6 8V so once we get it jetted and tuned correctly I think i'm going to throw the spare one we have on my SJ

I've only ever met a couple of people who have run a 2" SU on the 1.6, I don't know why. I think the 44 is ideal on the 1.3 but too small for the 1.6

The truck is looking good.
