New Memeber!

Post by TomBod08 » Thu Apr 04, 2013 3:13 pm

Hi,
Im 18 and have just bought a 1992 Suzuki sj413 1.3 sport.
Im trying to insure it but most insurance companies say I have to be at least 19 years old, does anyone know any cheap insurance companies.
All Im going to be doing is driving to an off road centre and back.
Thanks :D

Devastating.
Currently I have got £1400 from Tesco. But my dad is the main driver and I am the named driver. Do you think thats a good price?

:welcome: to :suzuki: club UK

Unfortunately SJs can be quite expensive to insure for young drivers, especially if its modified so 1500 is probably around the cheapest you'll find.

1400 is good mate, ive got a quote for 1800 which is the cheapest ive got so far, use confused.com, theyve got me the cheapest quote so far, better than moneysupermarket and comparethemarket...

you can tick a box on the last page of the form to have an electronic box fitted, it does make it cheaper! also doing third party fire and theft brings it down...

once youve got your first years no claims itll come down about 700...

As a new driver on any car that is a good price. Even knackered old corsas cost over a grand to insure.

Welcome to the club too.
