Re: Wiring diagram
You’ll just need to wire up the thick white wire to the + stud as usual. IIRC the later jap ones have a type 1 style plug so White-red that goes to the voltage reg is the warning light hook that up to L And Black-white to IG IMG_7924.jpeg The other wires aren’t needed. Make sure the white at the old...

Re: Wiring diagram
The lj80 wiring diagram might work for what you need, they share the same alt and external voltage regulator.

You could always convert it to run the newer alternator with an internal regulator.

Very tidy!
I’ve got a love hate relationship with KJAs, they look ace but I don’t fit in them so I could never buy one

Re: Knuckle oil seal bolts
Normal bolts will squash the wiper seals and reduce the effectiveness of the seal imo.
I’ll throw a load in the box of bits I’m putting together for you. I’ve got hundreds of them

Re: Bowser. LWB on 33s
Almost there with now, few belts to order and a bit of tidying up and I can run it up and get the dash refitted I decided to reposition the rad to run the 1.6 viscous fan instead of an electric fan. IMG_7792.jpeg IMG_7795.jpeg IMG_7799.jpeg Need to modify the PS pipes again now the rad has moved 😅 T...

Nice work, it’s deffo handy being able to use something you had lying around!
The GV master cylinder and servos aren’t that hard to fit, can get them in 15/16” and 1” so a good size upgrade. Just make sure to get one out of a GV with ABS so the MC only has 2 outlets to make it a bit easier.

Re: Coiled turqoise samurai 16v
There’s not a huge difference in 410+4.3 and 413+5.12
410+4.3 in high= 6.794:1 low= 10.797
413+5.12 in high= 7.214 low= 11.612
So the 413+5.12 is slightly lower geared in both high and low, but the 4.3 gears are stronger

Could just have the choke stuck on, can you not manually close the choke at the Carb?
