Have been driving around in my Suzuki Samuari again for the last two weeks. It was SORN'ed for the last four years and left neglected in the garage which hasn't done the body work the world of good. The photo attached is just before it got mothballed. The wheels are now very rusty but easily fixed.
Was driving around in a brand new Ford Fiesta for the last two years but the ex got that although I did get my Defender (87 ex military but not in good condition) back from him but had to sell that so left with the Sammy. So glad I kept it although it was a jolt back from the luxury of the Fiesta. Back to basics :-).
This Samurai was my first car. I bought it new in Holland in 1994 although it was officially registered in December 1993 so 21 years old this month! I lived in Holland until 2007. My Sammy was one of the last made I think. Its a left hooker of course but that makes driving around the country lanes in Cornwall easier because I can hug the hedges
.I am no mechanic so am going to be asking some questions in other areas of the forum. Hope you guys can help.
Are there any other females out there driving Sammy's?
