All the extra torque? There isn't much ;)

The X15dt (t4ec1) is 66bhp and 97lbs-ft

The vitara G16 16v that is a very common swap is 95bhp and 97lbs-ft and the transmission holds up fine.

Update! got some more work done to here.

Drained the petrol from the tank and hooked up the fuel lines, primed the system and now have it running straight from the tank :) ive got a fuel filter from a diesel fiesta to mount and plumb in as its running a little inline filter that allows fuel to run back into the tank so you have to prime it every time.

Ive got the glow plugs hooked up to a motorbike starter solenoid on a little button in the cab which seems to be working spot on. luckily the temp sensor on the isuzu engine is compatible with the sj clocks so thats a bonus.

ive got some thick gauge cable and battery lugs so can hook up the alternator soon.

i went for a clio/ kangoo radiator as both ports are on the right which i need for the isuzu engine but its a tad too big so im going to go back to the standard rad and stick a nice big fan on it.

just odd little bits now and then its ready to go for mot, needs 2 little patches of welding but nothing major.

the only problem im having is the top coolant flange is touching the bulkhead and there isnt really enough room to cut a hole in it as the heater is right behind it so ive bought a thermostat housing off an astra DTI which comes out at more of an angle so that should hopefully sort that problem out, as you can hear on the video the engine vibrates through the bulkhead.

Some pics.
