Re: Hi from Bulgaria
Lets hope so. Trouble is the council here does not bother cleaning the small streets. You can come ice skating on them .dan_2k_uk wrote: Hopefully it stays that cold for my snowboarding trip there next month!
Whereabouts are you going - Borovets, Pamporovo, Bansko?

Just curious, but are you an expat? Your English is a bit too good...

Thanks for the compliment, Anton. I am a native Bulgarian. Used to live in UK for 13 years. Ten years ago moved back to Bulgaria.Anton wrote:Just curious, but are you an expat? Your English is a bit too good...

Re: Hi from Bulgaria
I was born in England, on the south coast (Shoreham) but my Grandfather was from the Czech Republic. He was hunted by Nazi's so Lady Rowntree smuggled him out of Europe (for those who're curious, yes, the same Lady Rowntree of Rowntree's Fruit Pastilles fame - she ran an "underground railroad" out of Europe during WW2).
So I'm quarter Czech, which is where the name is from. The rest of me is from Ireland, Scotland and England. Which gives me special rights over "Englishman, Irishman, Scotsman" jokes...
