The pad is worn out and, judging by the wear pattern, the disc is probably too thin as well. Combine the two and the pad falls out.

That does not sound good, sounds like it could be a very expensive job but i doubt that it will 'brake' the bank :hahaha: By finding that brake pad it could 'stop' your budget 'running' away with you.

lol

Going to do the lot, new discs pads shoes...if the pipes are dodgy new Goodridge ones too. The master cylinder is the bloody expensive thing but if it's nothing to do with that (and it looks like it isn't) I'll return it.

Went to fit the new brakes today to Piglet 6. Discs...wrong. Pads...wrong. The discs were from ebay at £15 a pair...they will go back. The pads were from my local motor factor. Went back to him with the correct pad which had a Lucas part number on it so he ordered those and some new discs (£55 from him!). Many hours later the discs arrived...correct, and the pads...WRONG! Bangs head on brick wall...

I can't quite tell from this angle, but that looks like a standard Aisin SJ calliper? Those pads should be 10-a-penny, well easy to get hold of!

The Jimny is still being fitted with those in the factory as we speak! I'm pretty sure some other Suzuki's (Alto?) come with them too.

Yep they look like standard jap SJ discs and calipers to me. Just use my reg, d363 ccj.

Presume the vented discs in the box are the ones that are wrong, they look like GV discs.
