There are no photos, everyone here is just using their imaginations.Darrell wrote:Is it just me, but there's no photo's .
Is it a personal computer or a work one? I can't view many of the pictures on this forum on my work laptop due to the sites they are hosted on and the filter work use.

Was a cracking day. Let's wait and see what's in the pipeline for the future
I was having too much fun driving so didn't get many pics but do have lots of gopro footage to go through and sort.
I'm pretty happy with my flex thanks Ju, I don't need any whacky shackles
Philon's 500+bhp racer
Apparently driving through muddy water with your bonnet up is a way to clean your rad and alternator??? Land Rover owners eh!!! made for some funny pics though

Some great pics there Scottie. Why no whacky shackles, don't you like running flat springs? Your SJ handled that cross axle section pretty well.
I don't get what that buffoon in the disco was trying to achieve.
That racer looked mental, shame we could not see it in action.

Someone who not only drives a Disco, but has at some point decided it's a great idea to paint it pink, does not think in a way you can understand.Ju wrote:I don't get what that buffoon in the disco was trying to achieve.
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!

Ha ha good point Anton, belonged to his missus though.

I like my articulation controlled, whacky shackles when open causes the issue of having no spring rate, that means there's nothing pushing the tyre into the ground, yes you get a bit of a fulcrum effect from the compressed side sitting on the bumpstop but this is minimal and you still have no spring rate on the drooped side.Ju wrote:Some great pics there Scottie. Neither do I but it was funny to watch
Find "red winches" on Facebook, they've posted a few vids of it hooning around after they closed the site to everyone else.

It doesn't look that deep until you look at my avatar and realise how high the bonnet actually is.
