Re: My first maruti!
I'm guessing it's a temporary daily driver until you get the SJ on a new chassis?
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!

Re: My first maruti!
Unfortunately not.... its just a cheap runabout for the mrs
Lovely 3-pot f8d engine
... but the clutch has just gone!
Fortunately I got it off a friend who will take it back, or give a discount for the clutch change

It looks and sounds as designed and as well built as a pug

Re: My first maruti!.....didn't last very long
Its not actually too bad to drive, for a shoe box!
Its quite good here for the tiny parking spaces and narrow roads
Fortunately as well its about fisher-price level of difficulty working on it...
Got the mangled clutch out really easily!
Gonna get a nice new clutch tomorrow... bargain price of £40
The car as it stands now...
What is left of the clutch...
Next to a samurai clutch for size comparison!
