What Is This Fuel Tank Fitting Called & Where To Buy Please?
Looking to buy a new fuel tank in the morning from Jap 4x4 spares, will also need the female threaded fitting that fits on to the male tank fuel outlet at the top of pic.
It connects to the solid metal fuel pipe before the filter, does this pipe have to be metal or can I go straight to rubber from the tank to the filter?
Any ideas where to buy and what to ask for or Ebay? Jap 4x4 spares can't help.

think its called "cut it off and jubilee clip it" unless its not there at all and then i dont think its as easy as popping it in.

Cut it off. Jubilee clip it and repipe all fuel lines in braided flexi.
Or fit genuine suzuki fuel lines at a ridiculous price, if they still supply then.

Could it perhaps be a brake pipe union? That might be why you can't buy them from Suzuki - they're too generic.

Thank you for all your replies guys and Darrell for the research
Very surprised nothing readily available, it does look like a standard plumbers union fitting.
I'm a little apprehensive about clamping over a straight pipe without a flared end, but I guess that's the way to go.

On my samurai, it has the female section on a bit of brass pipe, which then just ends and my hose clamps to the pipe, no further fittings, I'm sure you would be fine just cutting the end off and flaming directly to it
Re: What Is This Fuel Tank Fitting Called & Where To Buy Ple
It's only a low pressure line, 3-4psi so just cutting it off and using rubber fuel pipe with a jubilee is fine.
Think most of us have probably done it.
