Jack the back up, take off the back wheels, take the front of the drums off, undo the 4 bolts holding the drum on the axle, then you can pull the half shaft's out enough so they disengage from the diff, (you may have to disconnect the brake lines from the drums) take the prop off, drain the diff oil, undo the bolts round the diff, and then it should come out.
Thats pretty much how its done, off the top of my head.
Hope that helps

You may also need a slide hammer.
If it was me i would take the outside of the dum, brakes and back plate off. But thats me

Re: diff removal
you can sometimes manipulate the solid brakelines enough to pull the halfshafts out enough to clear the diff without dissconnecting them (remember to dissconnect the handbrake cables though if its on the drums )
saves a bit of time and hassle if you can
And yes as henry says you might need a slide hammer to get the shafts out.
I made my own
