Haha sweet okay well i am going to give it a clean out and hope what ever is happening stops otherwise it is going to have to be an SU carb but they are expensive :(

Expensive but well worth it! You can do it for just over £160 think,
if you are prepared to wait and watch ebay for a while for the carb

No iv never looked into it. Just does it intermittent and its never really bothered me enough yet

If it develops il look into it further in the future

ahh right i hate it. i stop at lights and it just revs soo high making me look like a lemon and only way i can bring it down is clutch it but obviously quite a bit of wear :(

mine used to do this all the time.

never could sort it out.

also ended up with a SU. Best thing I've ever done to it!

Thanks, you guys have persuaded me that SU is the way to go, :) i am watching a couple on ebay so will see how it goes.
