Fuel tank replacement

Post by Rjmaas512 » Mon Feb 20, 2012 9:48 am

Hello,

I have a LWB Spanish SJ413. I have what i believe is jap tank.

I was wondering how easy it is to replace the sender and then fit the tank.

I am stuck at uni so don't have any jacks or anything with me so would it be as simple as drop the tank and bolt the new one on, or do I need to jack the chassis away from the rear axle to give enough room to replace the tank.

And if the sender is different is there a way to get it to work somehow......?

Thanks,

Rob

should be able to do it on the floor without a Jack, I always have done but it can be awkward, an extra set of hands always helps.

Problem is Spanish senders don't fit Jap tanks.
