It's a sj410, mostly stock standart.
The carburettor has issues at the moment which I am trying to sort out.
I already replaced the cv joint's, and replaced the knuckle joint seals. I also checked and cleaned all the brakes, and put on a new handbrake cable which cost me a sad $95

I am currently planning to restorate it, and keep it mostly stock standart as is. I have started to cut some of the rust out of the bodywork. The floor pans are buggered, and the cab has some rust on it too. the fuel tank supports are rotted real bad, so will also need replacing. The corners of the bumper were rotted out too, so i'm working on welding a new bumper.

here's some pics of the damage i have done so far :D

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

There a a few sj's floating around here in new zealand, but not as much as in the uk, which makes parts quite expensive down here, but I'll have to deal with that.

I will measure the wheel base, and see if it is a lwb. the cab is quite short, so it might just look like it, but I'll let you know

the wheelbase is about 2350, so I guess it is a lwb
I don't have any pic's with the back on, as it was already off when I bough it.
I gotta fix the back and put it back on, and i'll get some pics when I'm doin that

:welcome: to :suzuki:clubuk Nice choice for a project! There's not many sj410k's around anywhere I don't think! We got the sj413kja dropside pickup in the UK but I'm not sure if we got the 410k here????

Look forward to seeing the build progress!
