sorry bigkid !? and ladies.... yep it had a 50mm lift when i got it and i thought it would be good/cheap to put some shackles on it... bad idea, after a death wobble they came off! its now running add a leafs which are not much better its ride is hard as nails and my tired leafs are going w shaped? hopefully my yam r1 will sell soon which will fund the rest of the build? been looking at 2.5" flexy lift springs was also thinking about doing a reverse shackle on the front to run rear springs on the front, we will have to see how much my bike goes for..
scottie im in the med in kent.... medway? but you dont want the 1.3 as its fooked idont think its a gti was told its a swift due to the oil filler being a screw not a wing cap and i need the sump and oil pick up??

Personally on the short wheel base SJs I'm not a fan of shackle reverse, It also gives you less clearance for large tyres because when the spring compresses the tyre tyre will move towards the bulkhead, with the shackle up front it moves away from it giving you more clearance.

If it's a GTI it'll look like this.

If it does I'd still be interested minus all the bits you need as it would get a full rebuild and go in my long wheel base :brows: but of course that's only if you want to part with it. I'm actually driving past your way tomorrow, My father and I are driving over to Ramsgate to pick up another Long wheel base.
