number five work very well if your too lazy to do a virtual lift when running 31's

next step, buy grinding discs, flappy discs, seam sealer, filler, metal, and primer! :doublethumbs:

Then there is also the way that I'm going to do it on the Lwb, I have drilled out the spot welds on existing arch mounts to remove them, then I'm going to use those as a template for the new shape of the arch higher up, then do the virtual lift as normal but without a lip sticking out and weld it from the inside, then spot weld the arch mount back on so the the original arches fit perfectly, should look really clean done that way.

You mean your arch mounts haven't rotted away?

Sounds likes like a good way if the arch lips are ok. Should look real tidy and original.

Or there is the Jay18 way with the trailer arches or the make the whole truck wider way.

just priced up some stuff im gonna need.

3 flappy discs
5 cutting discs
2 lots of seam sealer
1 primer
tub of p38 filler for smoothing
4x2 sheet of steel

just under 40 quid :doublethumbs:

that should do for starters I reckon!

You'll need more than 5 cutting discs! You want the 1.2mm ones, I just buy packs of 25/50 usually

Steve, your gonna make me jealous. Soon as i see progress it may spur me on to do my new front clip.

:hahaha: :hahaha: i'll try. I have this weekend to do everything Steve. Quick handbrake adjustment, quick sill chop, possible front clip mod and fit.

Plus various parts to sort shipping quotes on and remove off the LWB

Oh, hopefully get the FWH fitted.
