It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

Re: paypal
You don't really need to add funds to the account, when I pay for things using paypal, the money comes out of my account as I pay, like a regular transaction. The only time I have ever had money in my account was after selling something and taking payment via paypal.

Re: paypal
As far as i know you can't transfer money into it. Like twiss says paypal just debits it from your chosen bank account.

Re: paypal
Yeah you can put money into it and withdraw it still from any old atm. My father had to put some money into his paypal acount to put a deposit on the trailer. Paypal fees are interesting!

Re: paypal
so I added my bank account number, and they only needed my bank account number, so how can they debit my account? In theory I could put your account number in, and you would be paying for my stuff

Re: paypal
You don't want to add an account. There is an option to add payment cards instead.
I would post some screenshots but I'm on my phone at the minute
I think its is the profile/account settings rather than the add funds bit
it will use the long card number

Re: paypal
They do some checks before they "authorise" your account. They used to put a small deposit into your account, the details of which would then be used as a sort of "pin number" to make sure your account was actually *YOUR* account (because you need proper access to the bank statements to see the transaction details) before they let you use the account.kiwizook wrote:so I added my bank account number, and they only needed my bank account number, so how can they debit my account? I have no idea if that's changed, but it's more security than most bank transfers have - they generally rely on "security through obscurity".
With your account number, sort code and the name on your account, a bank worker could empty your account any time he/she liked. Not even a worker for YOUR bank - ANY bank. Working for your bank just takes the guesswork out of working out how much is in your account.
Scary, but true.

Re: paypal
If you're doing it right there will be no more details checked that buying from any other websiteAnton wrote: They do some checks before they "authorise" your account. Just checked and you should go to
My Account > My Profile > My Money
Then you should be able to add a credit/debit card in there
Like I say, Ive been using paypal for years and they don't have my bank account info, just card details
