Re: Scottie's Zuke
Sorted, nice quick job.
Are the 1300 and 1600 head gaskets the same? I have a spare 1.3. If different i'll have to order another spare.

Re: Scottie's Zuke
The bore is 1mm larger on the 1.6 but I'm not sure if the headgaskets reflect this? technically a 1.3 gasket would fit as everything else is the same.

It's going in the long-wheelbase now the extra torque and power will be better on road as the lwb is going to be a daily drive.Anton wrote:No J20?

Nice. Still not sure which way to go regarding engine swap, so I'll be watching these swaps with interest.

Maybe someday I'll have both finished so can compare side by side, the 1.6 16v is a much cheaper and simpler conversion but I want to do the J20a because I haven't seen it done in the UK yet.....Anton wrote:Nice.
