Is that what I think it is? A silver duck tape wrap?

What you can't do with gaffer tape. It really is universal!

Do you recon he just miss understood when his mate suggested his boss could paint it "just get your gaffa to do it"

All I can say about that temporary permanant repair is...

Mine looks like that in places, so I won't make any snide comments.

Actually - I kinda admire the bloke's ingenuity! ;)
