Lwb and swb gearbox.

Post by b3n16 » Sat Nov 23, 2013 6:30 pm

It's only a quick one and any help will be massively helpful. Can any one confirm if the Lwb gearbox from a 1.6 Vitara fit a swb Vitara still 1.6. Many thanks

Can't see why the gearbox would be different?
if in doubt, FLAT OUT!

mans tool kit > duct tape, wd40 and a bfh is all you ever need

I don't know for sure but as far as I know engines and gearboxes would be the same it would just be he length of axle props that would be different

All 1.3 gearboxes are physically the same size.

413 and Sammy boxes have slightly differing 5th gear ratio.

I presume the gear boxes are all the same.

Mounts may be different but your existing mounts would swap over.
