hi there, i will be rebuilding my axles on my sj410 and it seems silly not to paint them while they are stripped and cleaned!
what paint do you prefer or recommend to use?
i maybe want just a gloss black paint or something spicy like yellow as my truck is black.
i used hammerite yellow on an old fiesta xr2 i had when i did the suspension ect it lasted about 2 years before peeling but it was only used about 10 times a year never taken out in the wet and garaged obviously.
so im thinking that paint wont last that long with water and muddy stoney green lanes to scratch it off!
any ideas please
best paint to use on axles?
Re: best paint to use on axles?
try red oxide,, thats really good
Re: best paint to use on axles?
Thumbs up for the red oxide....even if you dont want it red it'll make a very good base coat...it pretty much sticks to anythin...just remove any grease and paint away!
