Based on Darrells calculator they are a gnats chuff bigger.

That's the bit I don't understand, the 235 and 195 are the tyre width, so if you take that out the equation for the tyre diameter its the rim size and the wall profile, which both on 15" rims a 60 should be smaller than a 70? Anyway it doesn't matter now as I didn't get them, got something else in the pipe line.

The tyre width is 195 or 235 and the 50/60/70 etc.... Is the profile.
The 50/60/70 is the percentage of the width. So if the tyre was (using these numbers for easy maths) 100/75/15 is it 100mm wide, tyre wall of 75mm on a rim of 15"
60% of 235 (141) is bigger than 70% of 195 (136.5) making it a bigger tyre.

ah i see, i thought the 70 60 etc was a measurement, didnt realise it was proportional to the width! well that clears the up! donkeychomp i must apologise for doubting you!
