Here's a piccy of mine. Looks like that bit in red is what's left of the cover that's under the radiator.

ohhhhhh so it had some sort of cover then? it looks ok then... I've never had an SJ before so a complete noob with it to be honest. I presumed it had come away from the body.

Just a little update, tonight we fitted the replacement rear propshaft. Drives great and the 'clunking' sound (which was obviously the UJ giving out) has gone completely. Looking forward to sorting the body work out next.

I'm in the process of replacing my flywheel and fitting rear discs, its slow progress but may be ready for MOT before billing :)
