The place to socialise, and relax, if it doesn't fit into anything below it fits here, so tell us that joke, or share that story of your last off-road escapade, but remember new comers the virtual drinks are on you!

Went for a bit of off road in my samurai

Post by AshR1 » Sat Apr 26, 2014 8:33 am

finished work early due to being rained off yesterday so thought i would pick up some mates and go try out some lanes near by. Isn't anything major but having never been proper off-roading thought it would be an alright place to start. It consisted of a chalk dip and hill and muddy trails through a wood and then just a few rutty lanes.
like i say although wasn't anything major, still had great fun on my short time out and showed my audi turbo loving friends the light and looks like they have been converted and are looking to get one themselves now :hahaha:

got a few pics and some videos but not sure how to get the vids uploaded, but all i can say is looking forward to more days out and hopefully if there's anybody near by that wants to show a newcomer how its done or have a day out once in a while i'll be up for that definitely :).

Nice looking truck.

You will be blown away with when you DO go off roading for real.

I put my videos on YouTube, the just put a link on here, probably the easiest way once a YouTube account is set up.

So come on lets see the video.

Yes, a Zuk on those tyres is pretty phenomenal. It's difficult to imagine how much better offroad they are than other trucks, but they actually are.

Without lockers, no-one leaves me behind. I get through everything other (unlocked) trucks do, and some things they dont. With no fuss.

To leave me behind, you need difflocks, and you need to find a really hairy, gloopy mire. Your truck will be the same.
