Re: sj is on its death bed
Might be easier to swap the engine, tcase and rear axle in from the rolled vehicle than swap the bodies.
Then again, I have not done a body swap, so I don't know how much work it is.
I do know that I can swap an engine easy as pie, and a rear axle is a very simple swap.

The body swap isn't that difficult because all the main parts are fitted to the chassis.

Yes, but you have to deal with things like wiring looms, brake master cylinders, brake lines, steering columns, brake, accelerator and clutch cables etc.
If they're identical spec vehicles (both Spanish or both Jap) it may be easier, but it just *seems* fiddly to me, and the body is surely a lot harder to lift off a chassis than an engine is to lift out...?

Yea personally i would swap the engines over rather than the body!! in fact i would rather swap an engine, gearbox, tranny box, and axles, over swapping a body.
