My engine is seriously struggling to idle...
Will run with a touch of choke ok, but at normal idle it's lumpy and shakes the car before cutting out. Also means I'll sometimes come to a junction and she'll quietly die!
Thought of trying turning the idle adjust up a tad to seeing it would help but can't even find the screw!
Thoughts anyone?

Re: 410 rough lumpy idle
1st thing first try a new fuel filter.
2nd check the points gap...0.40 - 0.50mm
3rd give the carb a strip down and clean http://www.suzukiclubuk.co.uk/diy/15-en ... pand-clean
4th check the timing 10* before tdc @850rpm

New filter ordered - we'll see how it goes!
Thanks again Scottie

No better, gap check tomorrow...
It's loud mid exhaust too - there's pressure at the back so don't think there's a hole but I'll get a better look tomorrow.
Need a local SJ owner!

Just outside Leeds, and more clueless than I should be :p

1 and 2 done and it's better - idles now!
Still rough though, lumpy across the Rev range.
Tried the carb... Though fuel filler plate is well and truly stuck down...
