Inlet manifold flaps seized

Post by PhilD » Sat Sep 27, 2014 8:32 am

Has anyone stripped down the inlet manifold , I'm going to have to do it because the inlet manifold flaps are seized and the the linkage to the opening diaphragm has snapped also while I'm doing it I can change the temp sensor what a brilliant place to put it right at the back of the engine.

I see in your other posts you have a 2003 2.0td 107hp.
Is that the RHZ engine, as I do have a workshop manual for that if needed.
I'm afraid I have no idea what these flaps are :er: :D

There are 2 types of diesel engine fitted.

RF engine is the Mazda unit and the RHZ is the Peugeot unit.

I've just checked the V5 its the RHW engine so the Peugeot 807 Manual I bought is no good, but on the plus side after a bit of research the RWH is better for remapping
