Yea I read your article the other day defiantly going to do it. Will keep the centre of gravity low and hopefully less Likeky to roll.

contact mudbits in tauranga, he might have some front springs, no one knows how much he'll charge you for it though!

It's not a question of how much you spend on your suzuki, but when your money will run out

yea, he gives good service, but is bloody expensive. there was also a breaker here in masterton, but he has left his missus, and I think he left all his parts etc with her and the property. I'll see if I can get hold of him to see if he has some springs for you

Loving the total strip down and rebuild approach you're going for, and I would go virtual lift if I was building another SJ. Spring over axle is the route I went, and it ended up too high for my liking.
Although it's nice being really really high on the road, it a little bit less stable off road. But still surprised at how stable the old gal is!

That would be great no one over here has anything to do with Zuk parts and I do regular trips over their as I have a fair but of family in masterton.kiwizook wrote:yea, he gives good service, but is bloody expensive. there was also a breaker here in masterton, but he has left his missus, and I think he left all his parts etc with her and the property. Re: Fwb's SJ410 Build
Well just started the dreaded part of the build. Trying to fix what little bit of the body that remains. It has had so many bad repair jobs in the past. Some ass has just riveted new steel over rust. Or put 2" thick layer of bog/filler.
Time to get cutting I think. Prob should go but some steel and some gas for welder.
Any ideas on a custom dash? Want to remove the stock steel one and maybe make a wooden 1.
