New front for my Gyspy

Post by courior » Sat Feb 28, 2015 11:54 pm

Modded some Vitara bullbars to fit the front of the gypsy. Sprayed the X-member and bumper mounts matt black to blend in with all the other metalwork and mounted the original side lights to the body (to be upgraded and attached properly later). Also changed the lights to be activated by relays so i can put some 100W bulbs in there and not melt the 23 year old wiring. Only one 100W bulb is fitted cause the otherone broke in the post :( guess which one is the 100w one :P

What's the difference to driving at night?

I think my SJ could use a bit more illumination...

Got rid of the original light and indicator clusters as they were a bit dodgy bolted in with 1 bolt and were full of cracks to let the water in.. Now it looks like this.
