2 go mad in Surrey
A ton of green laning, Anton and I, the SJ413 and the LJ80, fine weather, great lanes, good pubs and superb nosh. Started out badly as the chap coming with us bailed at the last moment...and he knows where all the lanes are. Finally found one very muddy off road lane, then trundled around finally ending up in Box Hill where we procured a map and off we finally went. There are a ton of great lanes all within maybe a 10 mile radius, think we did 6 or 7. Definitely going back again.

Looks like a great day out.
What green laning is all about. Nice gentle drive away from it all in a Zook.

Re: 2 go mad in Surrey
Top day out!
We made very sure not to stray off piste, not to go into any bridlepaths, footpaths or private land, and we were careful to "tread lightly". Mostly in 1st/2nd gear at tickover in 2hi. About 5-8mph. Backed off and switched off for horses etc.
Don't know about Donkeychomp, but I did 185 miles all told, totally worth it just for the views. Kinda realised that my SJ isn't as uncivilised as I thought on the motorway, too. Managed to get 71 out of her! And 30mpg average, including about 110 or so foot to the floor motorway miles in 4th gear as 5th is all but useless.
Bonkers! Brilliantly bonkers!

Re: 2 go mad in Surrey
We even found a pub that did gluten free fish and chips! Yay! Fish and chips for the first time in many, many years (literally)!
Top day out. Next time we do it, we'll have to find more members from S.London/Surrey etc. Plan is to get the OS maps on my phone, plan the route beforehand. Maybe we could turn it into an "official" SCUK laning day.
