Are the body mount fixings on a SJ, studs fixed to the body / chassis or bolts that can be replaced if the rubber mounts are replaced?

I am about to start a body of restoration and am suspecting the bolts/studs will shear when I try to undo them

The 2 at the front and 2 at the rear are bolts with captive nuts on the chassis so they can be replaced.

The 6 in the middle are studs fixed in the body but the nuts always come off fine, I've never had one break or strip the thread.

The rear 2 bolts normally come out fine, the fronts do sometimes shear but if you give them a good spray with wd40/penetrating oil a few times over a few days before trying to get them out they should come out fine, you can get to the threads underneath to clean them up before trying to remove them as well, that helps.

I've had a lot of sj bodies off and the fronts are the only ones that sometimes give you some trouble.

Thanks for the reply, I will give everything a good spray of WD40 over the next few weeks - before I tackle the body removal.

Any suggestions / thoughts on replacement rubber / mounts suppliers? I am keeping it standard (no body lift) but am not sure whether OE or some modern material is better.

Cheers.
