Vitara body panels
Does anyone know a supplier for body panels for the 2000 Vitara..........some idiot hit the rear end wrecking the rear bumper and the supports lower light bar. Or is it a case of make them up myself

I'm currently working through the braking system on my 2000 1.6 Vitara. Im finding an intermittent soft or spongy pedal, last night parked it over paper rolls (old wallpaper) to see if I had any indications of fluid loss..... none also no loss apparent in master cylinders. Thanks all they had been at about 35-40 and rather choppy now running at 25 -30 for a few day see how she goes for a week........anyone got a front bash plate template or even one for sale? Does a bash plate make the trans (manual) run hot?

Good luck with the project. Just one issue Road tax is not transferable to the new owner. When you buy it it does not matter that it appears to have road tax. The DVLA effectively cancel it on each sale and refund the original owner. So this means your un taxed and if the vehicle is on road i.e not ...

Ok the Tin Top has arrived and over the last couple of day's I've been giving it a going over. The base vehicle is a 3 door year 2000 i.6 efi it has freewheeling front hubs 30mm spacers on. The wheels currently alloys fitted with 195 section Colmans speedo and mots say 56k miles. it may have 2"...

Exhaust ah that must be the bit I'm missing on the Vit lol. A supercharger would be good if I had one ....... no lag under acceleration and also less heat problem and less problems with balancing any catalyser.
