Well it's here!
This is a pic from the local newspaper (not my picture) from the snow on Sunday.
So where was I and my Samurai? In the garage working on fitting the full float axle together.
I need to pull my finger out as it might be needed soon.
It doesn't take much to put a Beemer off the road.

When it's on the wrong tyres
I had to wait for a 4x4 to get itself unstuck from the hill out of where I was working last time it snowed, before serenely driving my 3 series touring (on winter tyres) straight up

Get it sorted so next time it comes in you can get out and play.
Jealous! We have no snow down here yet.

Had a bit up the M74 this morning around Beattock. Nothing to write home about.
Sat at Grangemouth docks waiting to rig a crane, don't think it's gonna happen today the way the waves are crashing over the dock side.

I want some snow too. The SJ is working, which is good!
I have a set of Pirelli Rally-X tyres for my transit, but that got smashed up a few months ago by a Romanian lorry so wont get to use that this winter. :(
BUT, I got a working SJ!

We had a very light dusting along the banks of the Humber in the wee hours of Tuesday morning but it had before the sun came up.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
